Here I am with my first fully trained police dog Fritz. The program was cancelled so Fritz is now with a great family.

Every trainer has one dog that he/she made the most mistakes with. This is Jasmine. She came out to be a good dog in spite of my many mistakes.
Nathan has had a love for dogs his entire life. Spending time on his dad’s farm as a boy in Oregon gave him an appreciation for all animals.
It’s been over three years since Nathan bought his first German Shepherd puppy, Rocky. Rocky was out of control and it motivated Nathan to learn how to train him. He quickly saw the benefits of training and enjoyed the process of teaching him. More importantly he discovered the joy of having a well trained dog.
In 2008 Nathan began his apprenticeship program under Master Dog Trainer Gregory. The training and experience Nathan has received under Gregory and MP K9 coupled with his tenacious desire to learn has quickly made him one of the most respected K9 trainers in the southern Nevada area.
After receiving his Journeyman’s certification Nathan was promoted to head trainer for the Citizen K9 rescue program which specializes in rescuing and training hard-to-handle dogs and then finding permanent homes for them. His philosophy on dog training is that training should be fun and enjoyable for the dog and its owner. “I train the dog yes, but more often than not I am learning just as much and it often seems that the dog gets it before I do. It’s funny how that works. After training I find that the dog and owner will have a stronger relationship than ever and in the process will build a bond that can never be broken.”
On a more personal note, Nathan attended Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, CA. His faith and beliefs figure strongly in his philosophies for training dogs. In Genesis 1:26-28 God said unto them... have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
“I believe that we should never abuse animals,
but we should never let them abuse us either “
